Museum News August 22, 2009 ABA Port of Potosi & Potosi Brewery Foundation Brew Fest The 1st Annual Brew Fest at the National Brewery Museum™ Began on a bright sunny day with temps in the 70’s in downtown Potosi Wisconsin. It was the busiest day of the season for the museum with over 400 guests in attendance. A great time was had by all.>>Various beers from area brewers were available: Brewery Creek (Mineral Point), Lake Front (Milwaukee), Goose Island (Chicago, IL), The Grumpy Troll (Mt Horeb), Capital Brewery (Madison), Lienenkugels (Chippewa Falls) New Glarus Brewery, Stevens Point Brewery, New Belguim Brewery, Old Man River (McGregor IA) Ale Asylum (Madison), and the host brewery Potosi Brewery. Local wineries featured were Sinnipee Valley (Kieler) and Wispering Winds (Fennimore). Home brewers were represented by Tom Nichols (Platteville) and Lynn Harville (Prairie du Chein). The local “Just One More Band” headed by Port of Potosi Member Steve Malone (Benton) entertained while the tasting was going on. Mark your calendars for the next one August 22, 2010!!
