Museum News March 26, 2009 Tri-State Taste of Barley Brew Fest on May 23, 2009 in Platteville, WI The Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the American Breweriana Association, to bring the “Tri-State Taste of Barley Brew Fest” to the tri-state area on Saturday, May 23, 2009. This event will be held at the Governor Dodge Hotel & Convention Center located in Platteville, WI. The public will have a chance to taste some of the tri-state’s (Iowa. Wisconsin & Illinois) signature craft brews meet with representatives of the brewing industry, listen to live entertainment, attend mini-seminars, win door prizes, participate in a silent auction and generally have a fun spring afternoon. They would like to invite everyone to join us as they celebrate the fabulous brews of the Tri-State area. This will be a fun event that will help raise funds for the American Breweriana Association and the Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce. Rooms are available to ABA members at the Platteville Super 8 Hotel, the ABA’s official lodging facility.
