About Us

The National Brewery Museum™ and Research Library will provide a venue to display an ever-changing wide variety of quality breweriana in an attractive and interesting manner. The goal is to stimulate awareness, interest, and participation in our most enjoyable hobby by current collectors and the general public. To also provoke interest in the great and engaging history and heritage of the brewing industry. Our efforts will include balancing the interests of the diverse membership of the American Breweriana Association, Inc. and the goals and aspirations of the Potosi Brewery Foundation, Inc.

The Potosi Foundation, Inc. (PF) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) educational organization that had the goal of restoring the Potosi Brewery. The PF owns and manages the Potosi Brewery complex.  The Potosi Foundation was formed to restore the historic Potosi Brewery, built in 1852, to what it looked like in the early 1930’s. Although there is a historic look on the outside of the building, the inside is a modern facility brought up to OSHA standards. In some places the original factory brickwork is evident.
